Larne 3-1 Carrick Rangers
Ladbrokes.com Championship - Saturday, 7th February, 2009
LARNE finally clocked up their first victory under new boss Paul Millar with this defeat of Carrick Rangers at Inver Park.

Loan signing BJ McMenamin opened the scoring after just 40 seconds when the ball fell for him after Bertie Fulton had backheeled a Robbie White cross.

Rangers might have levelled within two minutes, though, when Davy Larmour volleyed against an upright but on 32 minutes they did score when Darren McNamee got on the end of a Pedro Delgado throw-in to send an overhead kick into the net.

However Larne regained the advantage three minutes later with McMenamin's second of the game before, after the break, Marc Brown delivered from the right for leading scorer Gary Rafferty to make it 3-1.
