Loughgall 5-1 Killymoon Rangers
Ladbrokes.com Championship - Saturday, 11th April, 2009
LOUGHGALL knocked five past bottom club Killymoon Rangers to keep their noses in front in the race for the Ladbrokes.com Championship title.

The Villagers moved into an early lead when, on three minutes, Davy Hawthorne slotted the ball home from close range after Lukasz Adamczyk delivered from the left.

They then extended their lead on 22 minutes when Dean Smith smashed home a free-kick from fully 25-yards.

It was almost 3-0 on the half-hour mark when Alan Murphy fired against an upright but that third goal did come on the stroke of half-time when Dean Smith doubled his account for the day following some good work by Adamczyk.

Killymoon pulled one back on 55 minutes, however, when Loughgall 'keeper Noel Robinson could only parry a long range effort into the path of Warren Smith who tapped home the loose ball.

Adamczyk then made it 4-1 on 71 minutes with a close range header after Smith was denied his hat-trick by the crossbar.

Neil Alderdice further extended the home advantage four minutes later when he slotted home from six yards out.
