Armagh City 2-3 Coagh United
IFA Championship - Saturday, 13th September, 2008
COAGH United stretched their lead at the top of the IFA Championship with this defeat of an on-form Armagh City at Holm Park.

Indeed, City - with three straight home wins under their belt - started well and deservedly opened the scoring after 11 minutes when Brian McCone fired past Johnny Pollock into the top corner from some 25 yards.

Coagh levelled, though, on the half-hour mark courtesy of a Scott McCordick solo effort which saw him beat the City defence to score in off an upright before, nine minutes later, Gary Baird made it 2-1 by capitalising on some poor home defending.

Steven Park extended Coagh's advantage with six minutes remaining after the City midfield lost possession but it was back to 3-2 just a couple of minutes later after Conor Forker tapped home a McParland cross.
