Dundela 0-2 Coleraine
JJB Sports Irish Cup - Saturday, 16th January, 2010
TWO first-half goals saw Coleraine progress to the last 16 of the JJB Sports Irish Cup at the expense of Championship 2 side Dundela.

The Bannsiders moved in front after 25 minute through Rory Patterson who crept in unmarked to head home a Stephen Carson cross from the left.

And Carson doubled their lead on 37 minutes when he was played through by Stephen Dooley to comfortably slot the ball past the advancing home 'keeper.

The Championship 2 side put up a spirited effort after the break with Thomas Parker and Gary Chisholm both proving a handful for the visiting defence.

Coleraine had second half chances themselves through Patterson and Tommy McCallion but those first half goals proved enough to ensure safe passage for the Bannsiders.
