Limavady United 1-3 Coagh United
IFA Championship - Saturday, 16th August, 2008
LIMAVADY United crashed to a third successive Championship defeat with this reversal at 'home' to Coagh United.

The Roesiders, still seeking their first point this season, moved into the lead on 28 minutes when Barry Curran crossed for Gareth Tommins to nod past Johnny Pollock.

However, the visitors levelled six minutes from the break through Steven Hawe when he rose highest to meet a Stuart Dallas corner.

And they edged in front two minutes short of the hour after an Aaron Thornton effort somehow squeezed under the body of Limavady 'keeper Chris McKendry.

The points were secured in the final minute. A mix-up in the home defence between McKendry and Stuart Clanachan presented Gary Baird with the simple task of knocking the ball into the unguarded net.
