Limavady United 4-0 Armagh City
Ladbrokes.com Championship 1 - Saturday, 19th September, 2009
LIMAVADY United stormed their way to the top of Ladbrokes.com Championship 1 with this thumping defeat of Armagh City at The Showgrounds.

The game was still scoreless when the visitors were reduced to ten men after Paul Alexander's dismissal for a two-footed tackle on Stephen Kelly.

Owens got the ball rolling six minutes from the break when his effort was deflected past his own 'keeper by City defender Mark Stewart.

He doubled up on 69 minutes from the spot after Michael McKenna upended David Patton and completed his hat-trick on 84 minutes with a brilliant chip over the 'keeper from an acute angle.

Gareth McConaghie rounded off the scoring for United with two minutes left when he hammered the ball home from 18 yards.
