LEADERS Ballinamallard United fell to their first defeat of the campaign with this reversal away to Donegal Celtic.

Ciaran Caldwell opened the scoring for Celtic on 20 minutes when he found space to get on the end of a Brendan Shannon cross to direct it past United 'keeper Trevor Morrison.

And Colm Kearney secured the points with 11 minutes remaining with a shot in off the crossbar after he collected a Stephen Dynes ball and taking it past a visiting defender.
