The first half was a largely uneventful, scoreless affair with the only real talking point coming five minutes from the end when PSNI defender Gerard Watson was sent-off after picking up his second booking of the game.

However, they responded well and duly moved in front on the hour through Kris Hunter who darted past Peter Thompson to fire a low shot past Ryan McConville into the bottom corner.

But Queens levelled with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when Thompson floated over a corner for James Gilgunn to nod past 'keeper Gary O'Neill.
